Congratulations Donny on being selected as The Chatham Club Member of the Month for June!
Tell us a little more about yourself…
1.) What brought you to The Chatham club?
My father. He worked out at The Chatham Club for years and trained with Tim. I wanted to follow in his footsteps in every aspect of life, and continue to do so.
2.) What accomplishments/changes have you made since joining The Chatham Club?
I am much stronger and am finally proud of my physique. I no longer shower with my shirt on and my wife finally likes my body after all of these years.
3.) What do you like about the club?
The staff and the members are the best part of the club. Everyone is very personable and enjoyable to be around. It makes The Chatham Club a special place.
4.) What do you like about the personal training the club offers?
Tim gets the best out of me. He pushes me to work harder and put in more effort than I ever do when I’m by myself. He also cares about my physical health and longevity, which is unique for a personal trainer. I wouldn’t be in the shape I am today without him.
5.) What are your favorite exercises?
Pullups. I was not able to do a pullup the first 35 years of my life. Now I’m addicted to them because I can actually do them, and that is a credit to Tim. Second favorite exercise would be the cardio I get in from walking around the gym and busting everyone’s chops.
6.) What are your least favorite exercises?
Anything involving my legs. Very tough and tiring. I’ve been told I have nice legs, but I’m now trying to add muscles to them.
7.) What do you like to do outside of the club?
Spend time with my family. I come from a very close knit family and we all live in the area, so I’m a lucky guy. I’m also an avid golfer and very passionate about eating. Nothing better than a good dinner and a nice glass of red wine.
8.) Do you have any upcoming goals that you’re currently focusing on?
Making Tim laugh and beating my mother, Gloria, to the Member of the Month. Mission accomplished.
