We’re excited to announce our September Member of the Month — Curt Dawson
Curt has been a proud member of The Chatham Club for over 10 years. From the beginning, he was drawn to the welcoming community and the perfect size of the Club. Over the years, his dedication has led to tremendous improvements in both strength and cardiovascular conditioning.
In fact, his training here prepared him for two incredible accomplishments: successfully climbing Mt. Rainier and hiking the entire John Muir Trail. Both required discipline, stamina, and perseverance—qualities Curt continues to bring to his fitness journey.
Let’s get to know a little more about Curt and what inspires him inside and outside of the club!
What do you like most about the Club?
I like the size of the Club, the convenience to my home, and the equipment and amenities it provides. I also enjoy working with my trainer, Will.
What do you like most about Personal Training?
I’ve been training with Will for almost 10 years, and I love and appreciate Will’s expertise, the variety of workouts he shows me, and how he continues to challenge me each workout.
What are some of your favorite exercises?
I do love the free weight leg press and have a love/hate relationship with the Air dyne Assault Bike.
What do you enjoy doing outside of the club?
I enjoy Hiking and walking the dog. I love to stay active.
What are some upcoming goals?
I am planning to climb Mt. Rainier again next year!
We are so proud of Curt’s accomplishments both in and out of the gym, and we’re grateful to have him as a shining example of our Chatham Club community. Keep up the great work, Curt!
