We are THRILLED to share the news that a TCC Sports Performance graduate – John Farinacci has been drafted by the NHL team, the Arizona Coyotes! CONGRATS, John!
John (along with his brother Anthony – another incredibly talented hockey player) has been training with Tim Losey on and off for the past 7 years. Tim refers to both brothers as some of the hardest working kids he’s had the pleasure of training. “Their work ethic is incredibly high, they are humble and kind and never complain during workouts,” says Tim.
John, a Chatham native, at the age of only 17 has already had an incredible career! In 2016, John left New Jersey and started to play for the Shattuck-St. Mary’s Under 16 team in Minnesota. The next year, he moved up to Massachusetts to play for the Dexter School where he scored 53 points that season! Farinacci then became the captain of the American team during the 2018 Hlinka Gretzky Cup & later was named to the 2018-9 All USA Boys Hockey First Team by USA Today!
John is continuing his hockey career as a freshman at Harvard where he will play while he prepares to join the Coyotes in the coming seasons. Tim plans to visit Boston this winter to watch John play at Harvard and Anthony play at Tufts! When asked how our program has helped the brothers with their hockey abilities, Tim responded, “It’s not what we do, it’s what they do with the knowledge we give them.”
John, kudos to you and congratulations on the draft! We look forward to following your career and cheering you on from the Club!
