Member of the Month – Vince Crowley

The Member of the Month for July is Vince Crowley.

Vince has been a familiar face at our facility long before officially joining as a member, just under a year ago. His journey is a testament to resilience and determination. After suffering a completely detached hamstring and undergoing a knee replacement, Vince began his recovery with our in-house physical therapist.

Fortunately, his connection to the club ran deep – his family were already members, and his children participated in our sports performance training programs. So, when the time came, becoming a member himself was a natural decision.

Following the completion of his physical therapy, Vince jumped right into personal training to continue building strength and mobility. His dedication and positive energy have made him a lasting impression on those he meets. Whether it’s his infectious enthusiasm or his commitment to self-improvement, Vince is a shining example of what our community is all about.

We’re proud to recognize Vince – his journey, spirit, and presence make him truly deserving of this honor.

What do you like most about the club?

The vibe!  It has a good energy to it and a professional atmosphere.  I also love the people here.  It’s a great group of fun people.

What do you like most about Personal Training?

I began personal training as soon as I joined.  I wanted someone to challenge me and get me to the next level.  I, thankfully, was set up with Michael and he has been exactly what I needed.  He keeps me accountable and moving up the ladder.  He keeps increasing my dynamic workouts and increases my weights to keep me challenged.  He has provided great variety of workouts which keeps it fresh and motivating.

What accomplishments have you seen in yourself since joining?

I have a greater physical sense of well-being, and a stronger mind set.  I have a great sense of self wealth.

What are some of your favorite exercises?

I love the sled drag and the torso rotation machine.  I also like doing the crunch machine.

Any least favorite exercises?

That would have to be the standing cable rotations and the cable pallof press.

What do you enjoy doing outside of the club?

I love being with my family.  Spending time barbequing and pool time.  I enjoy sailing in Rhode Island.  I also enjoy doing yard work, golfing, and tending to my vegetable garden.

Any goals in mind?

I want to reach and maintain my maximum physical performance and continue to challenge myself.
