Member of the Month – Caitlin Radcliffe

Congratulations Caitlin on being selected as The Chatham Club, Member of the Month for March! Tell us a little bit about yourself…

What brought you to The Chatham Club?
My husband and I had just moved to the suburbs with our firstborn, and I was looking for a place to exercise that also offered childcare. The Chatham Club was a perfect fit!

What accomplishments or changes have you made since joining The Chatham Club?
Over the past 11 years, my exercise routine and fitness level have evolved with my body’s changing needs. I’ve become stronger, pushed myself harder than I would on my own, and recently have learned the importance of listening to my body. Thanks to the wide range of classes and the knowledgeable instructors at the Club, I’ve gained valuable skills to work out safely and effectively, both in and outside of class.

What do you like about the club?
I love that no matter what kind of day I’ve had, I always leave the gym feeling happier and more positive than when I walked in. It’s a very special place.

What do you like about the classes offered at the club?
The classes are amazing! There’s such a wonderful variety that I can always find something to match my mood and how my body feels that day. The instructors are truly the BEST — I’ve learned so much from each of them.

What are your favorite exercises?
I really enjoy lifting free weights — especially Bulgarian split squats, deadlifts, and shoulder presses. Lately, I’ve also been having a lot of fun in the Zumba classes! And I can’t wait to get back outside when the weather warms up for a walk.

What are your least favorite exercises?
Burpees, squat jumps, and mountain climbers. Enough said 🙂

What do you like to do outside of the club?
My husband and I have three daughters who keep us very busy! We love skiing together, seeing live theater, traveling, and squeezing in a date night whenever we can.

Do you have any upcoming goals you’re focusing on?
I want to continue listening to my body and letting that guide my workouts. I’m also working on prioritizing warm-ups and cool-downs, which I’ve often skipped in the past. In addition, I’m focusing more on functional strength training and balance work to support long-term health and mobility.
