Athlete of the Month – Charlie Dunn

Our Athlete of the Month for September is Charlie Dunn.

Charlie Dunn, a junior at Chatham High School, is our September Athlete of the Month! He plays midfield in lacrosse and center in ice hockey, and has been training at The Chatham Club with Coach Robbie for three years. Charlie credits his training for helping him improve both physically and mentally, sharing that Robbie pushes him to work hard and get better every day. His favorite quote comes from James Clear: “Get 1% Better Every Day.”

What sport do you play, what position, and for what team?
I’m a junior at Chatham High School. I play lacrosse as a midfielder and hockey as a center.

What is your favorite thing about playing a sport for your school?
Being able to play with my lifelong buddies in a competitive setting.

How long have you been training with Robbie?
This is my third year training with Robbie.

Why do you enjoy training at TCC with Robbie?
Robbie helps me improve both mentally and physically while creating a fun environment.

What are your favorite exercises and why?
Deadlifts — because I can really see my progress as I build strength.

What is your least favorite exercise and why?
Reverse hyper extensions — they’re brutal and really burn!

Have you seen improvements in your strength, agility, speed, and confidence?
Definitely. I’ve seen huge improvements both physically and mentally, and Robbie pushes me to be better every day.

What are your goals for this year?
To commit to a college for lacrosse.

Great job, Charlie! Keep up the hard work — we’re proud of you!
