Get ready for some zen! Program Director, Jen O’Connor recently added three talented ladies to the Group Fitness roster. We welcome Meghann, Jess & Peri to the Club! All three instructors are certified in yoga and will be teaching & subbing throughout the Summer and beyond!
Meghann Dreyfuss Collins
Meghann has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She completed her 200-hour teacher training at Bhakti Barn Yoga with Betsy Davis and Lauren Magarelli. She has a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch. She first discovered yoga as a way to manage the rollercoaster of performing eight shows a week on Broadway for nine years. Her steady practice now guides her as she rides a new rollercoaster as the mom of two kiddos. Her teaching is rooted in alignment based sequencing and breath body connection. Above all, she seeks to create a warm and welcoming space for her students so they can have a peaceful and uplifting experience.
Jess Ricci
Jess truly fell in love with the yoga world and the unexpected challenge it brings. Jess practiced yoga and focused on the physical practice for many years until diving into the different limbs of yoga. Jess completed her RYT-200 hour certification and most recently completed her FRC mobility certification (FRCms). She also has her Masters Degree in Health Psychology and plans to further her education. Her classes are a way to escape the day to day routine of life and release stress, have fun and get centered. You can always expect to hear great music as one of Jess’s favorite things to do is create new and fun
playlists for every class.
Peri Lamkin
Peri completed Revel Yoga’s 200 RYT program under the expertise of Hallie Levy. Her experience with yoga has allowed her to be spontaneous (on and off the mat). She used to believe that my body had to look a specific way and bend into the perfect posture. She now understands that true yoga is more than the person’s body. Yoga is an embodiment of the mind, body, and soul that allows us to move with ease. On the mat, it’s not always easy, she still struggles. The discomfort she feels in her body and mind no longer scare her. This practice has allowed Peri to grow in her life and expand on her mat.
