Members of the Month – Lezli & Scott Bradley


The Members of the Month for July are Lezli and Scott Bradley.  Scott has been a member of the club for 23 years and Lezli has been with us for over 30 years!  Lezli was told about the club from a friend of hers who was an instructor at the club at that time.  She joined the club after moving to the area and actually spent some time working in our nursery.  To this day, most of her current best friends are people that she met over the years at The Chatham Club.  Scott, unfortunately for him, suffered a knee injury skiing and came in to do Physical Therapy.  After completing his therapy, he vowed to himself to get stronger to help prevent future injuries and join The Chatham Club. They can both be found here almost every morning taking class, doing personal training, working out on their own, and catching up with their network of friends.

What do you like most about the Club?

Lezli – It’s an amazing community.  I call it my happy place.  I love the elite classes and most current strength equipment.  I enjoy the separate rooms for different styles of workouts.  I absolutely love the stretching room.  It’s were I start and finish all my workouts.

Scott – I like the size of the club.  It has a good comfortable feel.  There is a feeling of a tight community here and I like all the personal trainers.

What changes have you seen in yourself since being a member?

Lezli – I feel the club has made me feel like I’m “aging healthy”.  I have a lot of internal motivation now and even ran a marathon years ago.

Scott – I’ve been able to stay in shape and improve my strength which has allowed me to perform all my activities with confidence.

What do you like most about Personal Training?

Lezli – We both train with Tim and I love his attention to my form.  He always makes sure I’m doing everything correctly and effectively.  He provides a lot of motivation.  It’s all about the end result for me, and I’m happy.

Scott – I love the variety of exercises that Tim comes up with.  It’s an all body workout in 30 minutes.  It’s intense.

What do you like most about the classes?

Lezli – I love that the classes keep getting better.  They are updated and fresh.  I’ve enjoyed Jen’s and Lauren’s classes.  All the classes are super motivating!

What are your favorite exercises?

Lezli – The stretching room!

Scott – All of Tim’s functional exercises

What are your least favorite exercises?

Lezli – Gliders

Scott – The V-squat

What do you enjoy doing outside of the Club?
Lezli – We both compete together in Competitive Sporting Clay shooting and have won many competitions.  We enjoy skiing and Scott loves to fish and hunt.

What are some of your upcoming goals?

Lezli – Just to continue to stay fit and continue aging healthy!

Scott – Maintain my fitness level to enjoy my activities.  Preparing and planning to be a good grandparent.
