Member of the Month – Beth Fitt
The Member of the Month for August is Beth Fitt. Beth has been a member of The Chatham Club for 13 years and counting. She first began using the club because the club’s proximity to home allowed her to get here for a great workout quickly and then back home to her family. She used a complimentary session with a trainer to acclimate to the club; the rest is history. Beth did crew and played field hockey when she was younger and then got into the gym life during law school. Fitness has been a priority for her, and we’re glad she’s continued her love of fitness here at The Chatham Club.
What are some of your favorite things about the club? I love the people here. The Chatham Club is my home away from home, and I’ve developed many great friendships here and met some great people. The club keeps me motivated to go there, and they’re caring enough to recognize when you’ve been away. They make you feel important.
What are some of your favorite classes?
My favorite classes are Power Sculpt, Boot Camps, and Carol’s Hiit. They are so much fun!
What are your favorite exercises?
I love anything upper body! Shoulder presses and bicep curls are probably my two favorites.
What are your least favorite exercises?
I have a love/hate relationship with Lunges.
What do you enjoy doing outside of the club?
I spend a lot of time playing Paddle, Pickle Ball, and Tennis. I’m also trying to pick up golf and improve my game. I also enjoy downtime with my family, friends, and dog.
What goals do you have moving forward?
Every year, I look to become leaner and more patient.
