Members of the Month – Baker and Jaime Bartley

Baker began his journey here as an employee. He worked as a towel tech for 4 years in his early years and began his membership in 2001. After settling down in the area, and knowing that The Chatham Club was a great environment for working out, Jaime became a member in 2013. They have had 2 children since then and have been frequent users of the Club nursery for the kids, and a third is on the way! Baker and Jaime have been a fixture in all the bootcamp classes, Bootcamp Paloozas, and any other function the Club puts on. They are our extended family now.

What do you like most about the Club?
We love the amazing classes, the personal trainers, the whole facility, and the friendships we’ve made with other members.

What do you enjoy most about Personal Training?
We’ve been training with Frank for years now and his positive and motivating energy make the workouts fun and fresh.  It keeps us accountable and helps us to achieve our goals.

What do you like most about the Nursery?

Our kids have loved spending time there ever since they were newborn babies!  We can always rest assured that they are well-cared for by the wonderful staff and have the best time with the wide variety of crafts, games, and toys offered.  The have also formed special friendships at the Chatham Club.

Nolan – I like going upstairs and playing with the tiny cars and big cars.

Emma – I like the Saturday snacks, playing in the kitchen, and playing games with the other kids.

What accomplishments have you seen in yourself since joining?

Baker – I have seen a big increase in my strength and endurance.

Jaime – I have discovered my athletic motivation and have maintained fitness during and after my pregnancies.

What are some of your favorite exercises?

Baker – I like the Bench Press, Pull Ups, and Deadlifts

Jaime – I like the KB Swings, Barbell Snatch, and Sled Push

What are some of your least favorite exercises?

Baker – Stretching, Pallof Presses, and Shoulder Presses

Jaime – Weighted Step-ups, Military Crawls, and V-ups

What are some of your upcoming goals?

Baker – Run a 5K

Jaime – Staying active and strong through this pregnancy.
